For the past six months or so I’ve been learning Kotlin Android Studio mobile skills after seeing this is what React Native is converted to after a build.
I think its great, a much better IDE to define any UI requirement to the finest detail and to be able to see adjustments without actually running the application.

Unfortunately I’m still job hunting Manchester area and also further afield. Of course my sites would go with me and be SEO’d accordingly. I feel a bit sad they haven’t brought in the interest they might have done over the past ten years considering the high ranking both have for Radcliffe in Greater Manchester and Bury too for web development, but would rather not state my beliefs as to why here.
Anyway I have over 20 years keen web development skills in all relevant areas and much in the way of social media too. This is my online portfolio if anybody would consider getting me off Universal Credit please!
Having spent a few months about this time last year playing around with C# at least I now have a direction to keep me occupied for years to come in different areas of kotlin mobile app development, although if somebody wants to make use of my php and many others I’d jump at the opportunity and be forever grateful. To be honest I find that kind of thing straightforward and repetitive these days. Thanks here’s to a better 2026.
